Preceptor Education on the Use of Clinical Teaching Models in Clinical Education

Context Preceptor training is designed to provide instruction on preceptorship, an overview of athletic program processes, and preceptor professional development. Preceptors generally do not have formal how be educators. Most occurs at the institutional level, with content, frequency, delivery discretion institution. Setting Web-based survey virtual semistructured interviews. Patients or Other Participants One hundred sixty-five preceptors (average 10 ± 9 years preceptorship experience) completed survey. Ten participants (4 male, 6 female) participated in interviews 12 experience). Data Collection Analysis Surveys were dispersed via Qualtrics, recorded Zoom.
